How to 100x your work output

It is weird how you’ll see some people be able to scale their business quickly, while others can get stuck at their current revenue level for what seems like a lifetime.

More often than not from what I’ve found working with 300+ founders from different niches is that some people complete way more work than others.

Not just a bit more work.

It is a mammoth level of difference.

Probably in the range of 100x.

Some guys you’ll hear about getting held up doing X or Y task like “hiring a new appointment setter.”

Apparently while hiring an appointment setter you don’t have any time for other tasks.

Yeah right.

Meanwhile, every week your competitor has made 3 YouTube videos, sent 15,000 cold emails, generated a few key partnerships and tested 30 new ad creatives.

Let me give you an example.

I want you to imagine someone who is so focused and efficient that they do 2x more work than someone else per hour.

That is not an outrageous amount based on what I’ve seen.

Like I said, some people dominate their work, while others kind of just mess around all day wondering what to do with their time.

So let’s say Person A does 2 tasks per hour, while Person B just does 1 per hour.

At the end of 8 hours:

  • Person A: 16 Tasks Complete

  • Person B: 8 Tasks Complete

After 251 Work Days in the year:

  • Person A: 4016 Tasks Complete

  • Person B: 2008 Tasks Complete

It might not seem like much, but wasting precious minutes of work time by getting distracted is hurting you badly.

Of course, we can’t expect to be firing on all cylinders 24/7, but you at least want to focus on optimising your output per unit of time.

3 Steps To Optimise Your Output:

  1. Deciding What To Do

  2. Actual Execution

  3. Removing Roadblocks

Deciding What To Do:

Breakdown your business like I did in this recent video and find out where the lowest hanging fruit is.

You want to find 2-3 things where if you just did those things, you would make a lot more money.

The secret trick here is that to figure this out, you need to track your stats (calls booked, close rate, cost per booked call, CAC, LTV etc) very closely so you can accurately decide what to do.

The point here is that most business owners are focused on changing their tires while their steering wheel doesn’t work.

In other words, they are focused on the complete wrong stuff.

Avoid this by:

  • Diligently tracking

  • Making a clear plan for how to solve your 2-3 biggest current bottlenecks

  • Getting help from team or consultants to help you execute

Actual Execution

This is where most people mess up quite badly.

So I made an unlisted training that shows you 16 things that help me focus and get more work done.

Roadblocks

There are a few main things that will get in your way:

  • Ego - “I already know how to do this”

  • Complacency - “I am already going fine”

  • Emotional Decision Making - “We need to pivot. Why isn’t it working?”

  • Self Limiting Beliefs - “That is too hard and too much work”

  • Burnout - “I am too tired”

Each of these present their own issues.

If I was to explain away all of them in one email, I would be here all day.

Really what you have to do is make a choice to stop being ruled by your emotions and ego, remove your limiting beliefs and start doing the work.

You will get brutally outworked by somebody in control of these things.

If that isn’t scary enough to spur you into action, I don’t know what is.

If you want to hear more about each of these things, I’m working on a presentation for 1000x Leads to help everyone get more done in less time.

Reply to this email with a problem that reduces your output, and I’ll shoot over some stuff to help your situation.
