How To Convert More Leads, Faster:
When it comes to lead magnet ads, book a call ads, content and cold email - it doesn’t matter where the lead came from, you will always need to ‘turn up the interest bar’ for them to buy.
You probably know this intuitively because whenever you talk to a lead who comes from content, they are high interest and intent.
If you’re not converting leads quickly, it’s likely there is a reason people aren’t buying from you.
The mistake most people make here is going through their sales process without raising interest first.
How to raise interest:
Show how you solve a core problem
Show how you can help them achieve a core desire
Show how each of the above is extremely likely
Show how you can do all these things while avoiding things they hate, and things they don’t believe to work
The only issues you typically run into is if:
You are not appealing to problems and desire
You are not building trust fast enough
They have objections about your mechanism or service (eg they are not sold on what you do)
Example:
Nobody wants a landing page, they want higher conversion rates, and they want them delivered by someone who’s done it 150+ times without having to pay for failed AB tests.
If you can cover these points, you will win:
Convince them you can get you something you really want OR I can help you avoid something you really hate
Make it certain
Remove painful processes
If I was to take a guess about which one of these most people mess up, it would be the first one.
Far too often you can find yourself talking about outcomes, mechanisms and offers that people just don’t want.
Reality is if you’re selling B2B, people just want more sales and more money.
Anything that equates to more sales = good and anything that is a chore or waste of time = bad.
So my advice would be to put your offer through the lens of “how can I make this seem as necessary as possible for my prospects to make more money and sales?”
You will come up with some good stuff.
