- How to get more done in one week than most people do in one year
How to get more done in one week than most people do in one year
First things first, if you struggle to get things done - you need to watch this video ««
I talk about a client of mine who has procrastinated for months, and specifically how to solve this problem.
The next step is to realise this:
You can schedule all your posts for LinkedIn, Twitter, Youtube in 4-5 hours per week.
You can write and record a tonne of ads and run them in 2-3 hours.
And you can make a cold email campaign in like 20 minutes.
Time is not the problem.
More often than not, the real problem is:
Not having a clear plan
Having low standards (accepting lower levels of output than you should)
Not knowing how to do something
Distractions in environment
Phone addiction
Letting yourself slip into low leverage tasks
These things absolutely crush you long term.
But - that also gives you an easy way to reverse everything that gets in the way so you can make a great productivity plan:
Make a crystal clear, step by step plan for each day
In that plan, force yourself to increase your level of output
Give yourself everything you need to complete tasks (courses, training, coaching etc) so that skills are no longer an excuse
Remove distractions (social media blocking apps, use do not disturb, quiet room)
Put your phone in the car until 1pm
Create a negative association with low leverage tasks and catch yourself out when not following the plan
Just by doing this, you can 2x.
Here is a baseline level of outputs to hit:
2-5x YouTube videos per week
$100/day in profitable ad spend
1500 cold emails per day
60 minutes per day prospecting
5x per week newsletter
One lead magnet per week
If you can do all of these, you are well on track to boosting your standards, and your business.
Reminder:
Watch this video. It will give you an actionable plan to beat procrastination for good.
Enjoy.
