How To Get More Qualified Leads
Before we start, we just made a new VSL for 1000x Leads.
Check it out here:
Whenever you are doing any kind of marketing (ads, content, outreach etc) you will ALWAYS attract unqualified leads.
It is just a law of the universe.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t make a few key changes to attract more qualified leads than unqualified ones.
For example, if you say something like:
“HEY EVERYONE, IF YOU WANT FREE MONEY FOR NO EFFORT, DM ME”
What kind of people do you think will be attracted to that kind of messaging?
It sounds obvious, but this is (more or less) what some of you will put in your ads.
This would be a great idea if you wanted just anyone to book a call.
But you don’t. You want qualified people to book a call.
So you just need to state that:
“eCom Stores Above $30,000/mo”
“Agency Owners Above $100k/mo”
“Roofers With Over 10 Clients”
It might sound like the same BS you hear all the time, but there is a reason why everyone puts specific audience callouts at the start of their ads.
You can also put the audience at the top of the video as the headline, you can talk about things that only your niche would understand, and you should also mention the audience again before your CTA.
→ “Again, if you’re {ICP}, book a call and we will run you through how we can get you {outcome}”
This is what you call introducing ‘friction’ which is exactly what you want if you want less leads that are more qualified.
You just have to understand that it is a sliding scale between qualification and volume.
More qualified usually means less volume, and vice versa.
The reason is just because there will always be less people who are hyper-qualified than there will be broke people.
Just the way the world works.
That is why we always recommend you have down sells and offers that people at the low end of the market can buy.
No matter what you do or how much friction you introduce, there will always be people who come through your funnel and waste time.
So you may as well get paid by them.
Things like:
One time setups
Courses/consulting
Digital products
Communities
All of these will help you liquidate your ad spend so you can talk with more of the qualified people.
If you want my 1-1 help to set these offers up in a way that works for you and doesn’t ruin your chances at selling your high ticket stuff, go here and watch the explainer video:
