It makes no sense to do this, but everyone does

One of the biggest cause of failure is:

Humans do something that works, and then stop doing it.

They figure out “if I just do this stuff, I will succeed” then after they succeed they will stop doing the stuff.

They do some personalised outreach, sign a few clients, then stop doing the outreach when they get the clients.

You can replace the successful action with anything.

Posting content, looking after clients properly etc.

We do stuff.

Stuff works.

We stop doing stuff.

Tf ??

Makes no sense.

Imagine if Stephen Curry just randomly stopped shooting threes one day, even though that was the thing that got him all the success.

It sounds stupid, but it happens a lot.

We even fell victim to this recently at 1000x Leads.

We got a lot of success from posting on YouTube, then we got bit busier (because we got so many clients from YouTube) and stopped posting so much.

Of course, that meant we didn’t get as many clients for a short period.

Luckily, we quickly realised this and made sure that we should be doing this as much as possible, so now we just focus on getting everything done every single day.

Action Steps:

  1. Identify three actions that made you more successful so far (for example, mine are newsletter, YouTube and working on my product)

  2. Write them down on a post it note

  3. Re-build your mental reward systems so you feel like a failure if these actions don’t occur.

This will single handedly bring you closer to your goals.

If you would like me to help identify high leverage tasks for you, you should book a call with my Co-Founder Matt to discuss 1000x Leads.

We will guarantee you that you get clients from cold traffic within 120 days, and we will put this in a legally binding contract with no funny business.
