Nobody Wants Your Stuff. Here Is Why
Hey there
Leo Moore here from The Acquisition Letter.
Nobody Wants Your Stuff
Only a tiny percentage of the market will ever actually want to convert on a high ticket monthly service.
Think - if you were going to hire someone to do something it is likely that you would interview a bunch of people for a role at the exact timing that you preferred.
Why would a company hire you just because you reached out to them?
They wouldn’t.
This is why you don’t convert cold leads.
This is why most prospects don’t see any value in what you provide - they are nowhere near ready to convert.
And if the timing is wrong, the only way to get them interested is with outsized value or a 'bargain deal.'
For example, if I didn't need a new phone but Apple came out with a great offer such as "get AirPods free when you buy an iPhone 27" I might be inclined to buy it, regardless of timing.
Therefore, if it is not the right time for someone to buy, you will need outsized value to get them into your ecosystem, and get the best return on your marketing.
A really good example of this that is working well right now is beating someone's conversion rate in something they do (ads, email marketing, sales calls, show rates, landing page) and then only taking payment after OR putting a guarantee on the increased conversion.
The reason it works is because it is simply a good offer.
Try it out.
Actionable Tip of The Day:
(Implement this within 24hours)
Try using a guarantee on a conversion metric that your service has an impact on
Send 1,000 outreach messages with it
Report back with results
Hope this helps,
Leo.
