My plan to level up
Over the weekend, I have been thinking a lot about how to scale to the next level for 1000x Leads.
We’ve had a great launch, and client results are rolling in smoothly:
(Not to mention the wins that get put in Slack every day)
But the challenge becomes:
Ok, you’ve had a good launch, how are you getting to the next level?”
The thing that I have to remind myself is that if you want to hit a certain revenue level, you have to act like someone who is at that revenue level.
This has been the case for me at each stage of growth.
The same way that when I had never hit 100k/mo, I had to act like someone who made 100k/mo.
And when I’d never hit 200k/mo, I had to act like someone who can hit that.
And so on and so forth.
So now as we set out to hit the next level above that, I am asking myself what a $500k/mo-1m/mo business owner behaves like, and then simply acting that way.
The beauty is, you don’t have to guess. There is unlimited content available, it’s just about going into your day to day life with the mindset of “this is how I behave.”
In my experience, nothing has helped me progress more than simply changing my identity.
Here is what I’m doing:
Making a list of behaviours and actions that someone at my desired revenue level would do
Setting a plan to execute on those things everyday
Reminding myself of my new identity 1-2 times per day
Example:
Behaviour: A $1M/mo business owner has rigorous tracking systems and only ever makes data driven decisions.
Task: Create tracking systems for all major KPI’s and work based on objectives and key results.
We will see if it works.
Talk tomorrow,
Leo
