Prioritisation

Remember: At any given moment, there are 100 things you could potentially do. Your ability to strategise what to do next is your biggest responsibility as the founder/CEO.

Prioritisation

In your business, there are probably only 2-3 things you can do to get to the next level.

All the BS tasks you spend hours doing, and there are really 2-3 levers you could be focusing on.

It might be:

So my challenge to you today is:

  1. List out what the biggest levers are for you.

  2. To figure out what you need to be doing, make a list of every potential task you could potentially do. Then ask yourself “if I could only do one of these tasks, which one would have the greatest impact on the business?” Then that will be task #1. Then ask “If I could only do two tasks, what would be the 2nd?” And repeat for the third thing. Everything else can be done later, done by someone else, or not done at all.

  3. Figure out a plan to delegate most of your other tasks to other people. If you need to grow a bit more first, that’s fine. Just get a roadmap to start focusing on the key tasks asap.

  4. Most of the time, you can start focusing on the 2-3 core tasks immediately by simply scheduling time first thing in the morning to start doing them. So schedule the time, and do all the other sh*t later.

If that sounds like stuff you’ve heard before, why are you not doing it?

Lesson in there.

Use this routine, and get to work.
