How to stop being so stressed about work
Recently, a subscriber asked me a question:
“Yo Leo, I'm not sure how much of the day I should dedicate to learning/educating myself. Eg. watching a YT video, reading a book, listening to a podcast
Not sure if you've experienced it, but I have like this PTSD where if I'm not physically working/doing something and instead watching a YT video/podcast, I feel like im wasting my time where I could be getting ahead on my work.
Would be cool to hear your perspective + take on it.
Cheers man”

This is pretty normal.
There is A LOT of stuff to do at any given time, and if you don’t know how to properly plan and prioritise, it’s very easy to just write a list of 100 things you have to do every day, then never get anything done.
This comes up a lot inside 1000x Leads, and we just made a presentation on it the other day so I can give some insights here.
The only way to avoid this ‘overwhelm’ is to create a clear plan that you know will grow your business the right way.
The way you do this is by reverse engineering your goals.
For example, let’s say you wanted to make $100k per month profit.
That means you will need X clients paying you Y dollars per month.
Which means you need a certain amount of sales calls, and a certain churn percentage.
That is the only stuff to focus on when chasing a revenue goal:
Getting new customers
Getting customers to pay you for longer
So you need to figure out:
What does my project management look like? Is my fulfilment locked in? How many units can I fulfil right now? How many units would I need to fulfil at my revenue goal? What is the process to follow to slowly build capacity while I grow my revenue?
How many sales calls do I need to hit 100k/mo? How do I book the amount of sales calls I need to book in order to reach my revenue goals?
When you find the answers to these questions, you have a plan of stuff to do.
Then when you have a clear plan of stuff to do, you allocate yourself tasks to undertake every day.
Once these tasks are done, that is when you focus on education.
Why do it this way?
Because when you have done all the tasks you planned to do, you can completely switch off and do whatever you want. It is the best feeling in the world.
You just have to create a plan, then stick to it.
If I was starting out again from 0, I would do:
5 hours growing the business
3-4 hours on fulfilment
1-2 hours on education/getting better
However many sales calls I need to take that day
The key here is, you can switch off after you’ve done what is necessary and left it all out on the field.
If you feel like you could have done more, it’s likely that you could have done more.
So just do more. Simple as.
Hopefully that answers your question.
If you have any other questions, reply to this email with them and I’ll write and email about it.
Or if you want 1-1 access to me and my team to help you scale, you can book a call here and see if we can help you.
Shameless plug, but we cover this exact thing inside our program + give you feedback so you know for sure that you are doing the right stuff on a daily basis.
If you’re wondering whether you’re ‘too early’ to join, grab a time and I’ll let you know what you should do.
Worst case scenario you get DQ’d and given some actionable advice so you know what to do next.
Best case scenario you get an exact roadmap to 100k profit months.
