The Mindset That Will Carry You To Success.

A lot of times, you will look at someone successful and think “wow, I wonder how they did that.”

And you will lean towards thinking it was some kind of strategy they followed or specific thing they did that allowed them to ‘unlock’ the success.

It sounds basic, but deep down most people think they lack something that other people have. Especially when looking ‘up’ at people more successful than them.

I have thought this myself when meeting people worth 8 figures or above.

You’re talking to them trying to see, what’s the thing that got them there? What’d they do? What’s the secret?

And again - I know it sounds basic, it might sound like advice you’ve heard before, but it is true. There is really no secret.

I guarantee you.

Because the truth is, to ‘unlock’ success you have to ‘unlock’ dozens of breakthroughs that take you to the next level.

Whether that be a vehicle, pricing model, offer, acquisition channel, fulfilment strategy or whatever.

Therefore - when you get exposed to people who are hyper successful - a lot of the time the only ‘secret’ they have is that they were going at 1,000 miles per hour and constantly focusing on improving every day.

It is cringe, I get it. But it’s legit.

It’s the ‘kaizen’ type mindset.

Breakthroughs and ‘unlocks’ don’t come from trying to find secrets, they come from trying to improve and just doing every thing you can.

For example.

Someone with a winning paid ad funnel has usually tested a tonne of stuff.

I mean hundreds if not thousands of ads.

Is the secret that they have a copywriting hack?

They probably do after testing that many ads.

The secret is in how fast they go, and the process of iteration they have.

This extrapolates to every area in life. You never really have to have it figured out, but you do have to go fast and have an improvement system in place.

If you have those, you can pretty much succeed in any endeavour.

And if you want to become more successful faster?

  • Go faster/do more reps

  • Improve the improvement system (i.e get more feedback and implement it better)

It is broad and pithy advice.

But the reason I’m giving it is because it’s one of the things that will actually drive you to get results.

Do not look for the perfect ad template or script or lead magnet XYZ.

While that stuff is helpful, moving fast and improving on the way will do a lot more for you.

I talked a bit about this in this video.

Lesson in there somewhere.
