The Systems You Need For 7-8 Figures

When I talk to an agency owner that is below 1m - most of the time they just have no systems.

They will act on how they ‘feel’, their fulfilment will be ad hoc, and they are probably running their entire business from a notebook and Google sheet.

This leads to inconsistent revenue and really having no idea what is going on. Sometimes you’ll feel like Elon Musk, and other times you will feel like you are in a shitstorm.

That is fine, and I still love working like that - however if you want to break past your revenue goals you’ll want to get some systems in your life.

The reason for that is because you will inevitably have bad days, get sick, get busy in your personal life, be travelling, have a wedding, stub your toe, or just not want to do anything on certain days.

These ‘systems’ are the things that keep you ticking over during those times.

99% of people use the word systems as some stupid buzzword - so I will attempt to break it down.

First things first - most ‘systems’ people just want to add a bunch of automations that add insane friction to your business. Do not do that.

The only purpose of a system is to make something more efficient, more repeatable, and more replicable across a company. This employee training system is a good example of a strong system (link).

The reason it’s good is because:

  • It is clear and simple

  • All it does is add a ‘best practice’ to a repeated task that will save time + add efficiency

  • Anyone can implement it (doesn’t require 746 Make API connections)

  • Anyone can adjust it to make it better (doesn’t require 746 Make API connections)

In this sense - the ‘system’ is really just a clear process to get a result that is documented and installed into a company.

The same way I have a ‘system’ for setting up my day that includes me sitting down with a coffee and planning it out.

The reason you need this so badly is because without a clear plan that is documented - your brain will usually take you in any direction.

Purely by the fact that the system gets something out of your brain and onto a page makes it 100x easier to follow for you, and makes it easier to hand off to an employee.

For example - when I was in Europe this year I caught some kind of stomach bug and was deathly sick for about two weeks.

Luckily - my business didn’t feel the brunt of it too badly because I knew that I had a certain set of inputs each day that I could just do the minimum and then go to bed.

Some Systems That Will Help You, Not Hinder

Simply put:

These will all help you get more stuff done.
