The Most Underrated Cold Outreach Strategy
G’day.
In today’s email I wanted to talk about the most underrated and best cold outreach strategy that exists. This can make you hundreds of thousands (maybe millions) of dollars.
Almost nobody talks about this, but it’s the only way that you can get multiple clients at once.
And that strategy is to use cold outreach to find partnerships.
This matters because partnerships are infinitely higher leverage then individual clients.
When you get a client, you get a client.
When you get a good partner, you could get 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 or even more clients.
Although I am not suggesting you just shut down all your client acquisition efforts, I am suggesting that a greater focus on getting partners will take you a lot further and make you a lot more money in the long-run.
If we use cold email as an example, I usually advocate for a 66/33 split between targeting clients and targeting partners.
66% of cold emails sent to potential clients, and the other 33% sent to potential partners.
The caveat is that partnerships will typically take longer to forge than clients (but not always).
However, the reward will definitely be worth it.
There are four types of partnerships you can create, and I go into detail on all of them and how to get them in this YouTube video.
Actionable Tip of The Day:
Implement this within 24hours
Setup an outbound campaign to target someone with a complementary service
Scrape the lead list using Listkit.io
Fire up a cold email campaign on Smartlead
Get some calls on the calendar for potential referral partners!
