Use this to stop wasting your time on the wrong sh*t

The other day I emailed about my client who went from 15k/mo to over 100k/mo.

If you haven’t seen the interview on my channel yet, you can check it out here (link).

These types of interviews are always interesting for me, because I look back on the specific problems we had to solve to unlock growth.

In Jake’s case it was:

  • Lack of authority in the market

  • He didn’t have time for revenue generating stuff

  • No clear sales argument

But once we solved these things, he added 30-40k MRR almost immediately.

It’s a good example of prioritisation and working based on where the low hanging fruit is.

Unfortunately, what most people do is they just focus on random stuff with no plan.

What I’ve had success with is more like:

“What is there to be done that can easily unlock the next phase of growth?”

And then after that is done, you can see the impact of it.

If you want to do this for your own business, this video is a live example of finding low hanging fruit and identifying key tasks (link).

There are 2-3 things at any given time that you need to do to grow your business.

If you think “how would I 10-15x my revenue in the next 6-12 months” you will likely be able to find reasons why you couldn’t do that.

→ Create tasks to solve the problems stopping you from 10xing

EG:

  • We need 100 more sales calls per month

  • We need to be able to fulfil 300 units per month

  • We need to be able to make 10 YouTube videos per month

What is stopping you from doing those things?

  • Getting better at ads/making more creative

  • Getting out of ops/hiring people

  • Getting better content

Then for those tasks, you can break them down further.

Example: I need better content

  • Better titles and thumbnails

  • More utility

  • Better hooks

  • Better edits

  • Faster value

How do I get those things?

→ YouTube

→ Courses

→ Consultants

→ New hires/agencies

Now you have a list of tasks to do, and all you have to do is do them (which is the real hard part).

But, having a clear plan will help you execute more efficiently, and now you have that, so you have one less excuse than before.
